Toilet Seats

Our call for ideas has obviously made several readers stand up and take notice, with TWO ideas coming in on the subject of TOILET SEATS;

J Hermans writes;

Taking the simple idea of the pedal pin workings for a toilet. Walking up to the toilet with the seat down.  Stand on the pedal whilst using and the seat goes up. Leave and the seat goes down. This could be used on a commercial scale for hospitals, service stations, pubs etc etc.

The less contact with the hands the better, and also will solve the years old argument of why men leave the seat up !!

Meanwhile, with a more high-tech idea, Angie writes…

A novelty idea.  A toilet fitted with a small infared beam similar to house alarms which rises when the beam is broken and lowers when it remains intact. No more husband/wife arguments!
