Limiting flood damage

David writes:

When we witness a number of families losing all their possessions in a flood or tornado or something of that sort it is always heartbreaking to see that the things they tend to miss most are paper based documents such as photos, old prints, letters, etc.
The idea of memento is to offer through insurance companies the opportunity for families in high risk areas to have such documents scanned and stored away remotely and in the case of a disaster then the family can at least recover those documents and have them reprinted for a future date.
