Wish Phone

This is a bit of a wish list that would be great if it could be done. We all get plagued by unsolicited phone calls from all corners of the world many of which are trying to sell you something or gain information. There are machines that ring your number just to get you to answer so they can determine what is the best time to phone you to catch you in. All this is annoying to say the least but having worked shifts for thirty years annoying does not quite cut it. I want revenge!

I want a phone system that links through my computer that lets me see the number that’s calling and if it’s on my list of friends then I would like the call to be at the allotted rate. If the number is withheld or from overseas or a number I have not agreed to calling me then I would like to be able to set the tariff for the call before I answer.

If it turns out that the call is welcome then at the click of the mouse on my friend or foe tab it will set the rate for the call from the normal rate to the premium. At £1.50 a minute or more they can wake me up and talk my socks off. Any profit made would be credited to my phone bill and if after paying my bill I have a profit I can use that profit for buying stuff on the net or other bills.
