Just a flash in the Pan
We have all seen the toilet blocks which sit in the system that when flushed allows a small amount of whatever they are impregnated with to be released and it turns the water blue and everything looks nice and clean. What if we could develop something that sits in the system in very much the same way and every time the toilet is flushed it fills the pan with an acid indicator like the litmus test is used for. Then every time someone went for a pee it would react to the level of PH given off in the urine and if a low PH for example, is present the water would change colour and the person seeing this would be prompted to pay a visit to their doctor for a check up. Acid in urine is a sign of all sorts of possible problems from diabetes to cancer. Acid indicators are made from all sorts of different things so who knows if it can be done or not. Perhaps the boffins at Water Innovate? My idea could set them off in a totally different direction to solve the problem that’s what I like about Volcano the site it gets you thinking. And no idea is a bad idea because who knows where it will lead. I have given some thought to cleaning agents and understand that they would need to be considered but lets cross that bridge when we come to it. Can it be done? A world wide market is waiting.
