					<description>This is a good idea... except that there is a reason why most tyres are black - it's the colour of carbon, which is great for grip. You can get coloured bicycle tyres, but you give up grip or some other desirable property.

Other problem: tyres are molded, and getting different colours would probably mean a totally changed manufacturing process with multiple molding steps, and the possiblity of weakness between layers. Expensive.</description>
