CabShare Plus

Oli has sent us an idea for how to get CabShare really rolling…

Why doesn’t someone create a mobile phone application which would work using Bluetooth to help people in capital cities share cabs with people going to similar destinations? 

Standing in a Cab Rank, you’d open the application, and enter your destination.  CabShare would search to see if anyone else in the queue was going somewhere similar, in which case you’d see a match and be able to connect at the CabShare meeting point.  The meeting point would carry an advert on top of it, encouraging people to download the application.   

You’d pilot this at Paddington and use PR and the Heathrow Express to drive uptake
